Clint Ecord:

Clint’s passion to making communities a safer place for all through discipline, education and awareness has lead him to be one of the founders of Investigative Protection Service and making his background and skills available to the general public and commercial businesses.

Clint Ecord, General Managing Partner of Investigative Protection Service, has always had a passion for public service and that passion lead him into a career in law enforcement. Clint’s passion for law enforcement and investigations put him on a career path that would provide him with the necessary background and skills to be an effective investigator with more than 7 years of service as a police officer.

Clint graduated the East Texas Police Academy in 2001 as a Commissioned Peace Office and started his career as a Jailer and a Dispatcher, but quickly moved into the position of a Patrol Officer. Clint’s ability was quickly recognized by his superiors and he was promoted to an Investigators position in the Criminal Investigation Division. Clint’s was again promoted to the position of Crime Prevention Inspector and Lead Investigator where he focused on crimes against persons and property.

Clint’s role as Lead Investigator provided him the opportunity to work closely with the Drug Task Force, Auto Theft Task Force, FBI, DEA, ATF, TABC, the Texas Cattle Raisers Association and the Texas Rangers. Clint is also a Veteran of the United States Army.
